As soon as I saw the new designs for the FF today I knew I had to try my hand at least one of them, and why not my favorite Marvel character, Ben Grimm? I’ve got some problems with the designs, but I understand that they’re a bit nitpicky. I picked Ben because the way Djurdjevic draws him is basically as a guy with a skin problem. I wondered what he’d look like as the stockier character I’ve always known. Daniel Acuña’s variant cover is incredible though, and I’m definitely curious about the new direction the FF is taking.
